Senior Developer


We are looking for a senior developer who is a keen team player to join a small digital corporate communications agency based in Clerkenwell, London. We produce Corporate websites, Intranets and bespoke applications in a variety of technologies for our clients.

Expertise in C# ASP.NET 2.0 and 3.5 with the use of Visual Studio 2005/8, an understanding object orientated programming techniques and good front-end web development skills is required with a strong preference for SharePoint and open source technologies. We have been awarded some large corporate client projects recently and are looking to bolster our existing team with a motivated, passionate, nurturing senior developer who is confident and can be client facing.

You must be a self starter, able to develop without a detailed system specification document, able to solve routine programming problems, and must be able to effectively debug working to a defined process and unit test your work. Most of the Excite team is client facing so you must have an ability to write technical specifications and present concepts and plans for delivery in a coherent and understandable way to people who are sometimes not technical.

You will have 3+ years experience working with the .NET framework, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and SQL Server 2005-2008.

User Experience Architect


Joining a skilled and dynamic team to work across a multitude of internal and external digital communications projects, we are looking for a talented enthusiastic user experience architect.

They will work as part of the team to advise and formulate usability ideas and strategies to help satisfy client communications challenges. We aim to provide best in class solutions that are built on user experience and interface design excellence.

As someone who is client facing, you will need to be able to present and articulate your ideas and concepts with clarity and an ability to produce documentation to a high standard.

You need to have at least 3+ years, relevant experience, preferably working in the Corporate B2B arena. An ability to manage your time effectively and produce work both to tight deadlines and specification is essential. We would consider both client or agency side backgrounds.

We would prefer you to have a relevant design, or technology based degree with a passion for what you do and the technology that drives it.
